Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to stretch your legs, this event is perfect for all fitness levels. The Golden Running Company will guide us through a short, picturesque route, before we head back to the Riverhouse to connect over drinks. Package Pick Up

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2025

LOCATION: Spirit Square in Golden (500 - 8th Avenue North - Look for the tents!)

9:00AM to 1:00PM:

  • ALL Full Pint & Half Pint participants MUST pick up at this time.

  • There is NO PACKAGE PICK-UP at Kicking Horse Resort.

  • Drop bags for Stage 2 can be left at package pick-up (please make sure its clearly labelled ahead of time with your name &/or bib #) Drop Bags are only available at Check Points # 1 & #4 which is a double check point. You can provide aid to your friends at Aid # 3 at the top of the gondola on Stage 2. Please purchase a gondola ticket at the kiosk and head up. The drop bags will be returned to the Mt 7 Rec Plex at 6:00pm on Saturday and at the start of Stage 3 at Keith King Memorial Park on Sunday.

5:00PM to 7:00PM:

  • We encourage all other events/distances to pick up at this time – especially the 30km and/or the 60km participants.

  • Drop bags for Stage 2 can be left at package pick-up (please make sure its clearly labelled ahead of time with your name &/or bib number)

*Please Note: Drop Bags for checkpoints 1 & 4 on Stage 2 will NOT be accepted on Saturday morning – they MUST be dropped off during package pick-up hours listed above*

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 13, 2025

LOCATION: Spirit Square in Golden (500 - 8th Avenue North - Look for the tents!)

5:30AM to 7:30AM: Late package pick-up for 30km and/or 60km

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2025

LOCATION: Keith King Memorial Park (1501 Maple Dr, Golden, BC V0A 1H6 - Look for the tents!) - don’t use Apple maps - it will take you to the wrong location. Leave early so you don’t get stuck behind the trains.

7:00AM to 7:30AM: Late package pick-up for the single day event.

Schedule - Friday, Sept 12

9:00AM to 1:00PM: Package Pick-Up in Spirit Square (500 - 8th Avenue North)for Full Pint & Half Pint runners (look above for full Package Pick-Up details).
Note: There is NO PACKAGE PICK-UP at Kicking Horse Resort.

12:00PM: All Half Pint runners must be leaving Spirit Square in order to have enough time to drive to Kicking Horse Resort and be ready to load Catamount chair lift at 1:00pm. Kicking Horse Mountain Resort (1500 Kicking Horse Trail, Golden, BC V0A 1H0).

12:45PM: All Half Pint runners must be uploading the Catamount chair lift.

1:30PM: Race Start for the HALF PINT - base of the Catamount chair lift

2:00pm: Race Start for the FULL PINT - base of the main base area (Gondola)

4:30PM: Finish Line closes for all runners

5:00PM to 7:00PM: Package Pick-Up in Spirit Square for all single day events (especially the 60km and/or 30km runners)

5:30PM: Dinner is served for Half Pint runners (Mount 7 Rec Plex)

6:15PM: Dinner is served for Full Pint runners (Mount 7 Rec Plex)

6:45PM: Stage 1 awards (Mount 7 Rec Plex)

7:00PM: Course & Medical briefing (Mount 7 Rec Plex)

7:15PM: Photos & Videos of the day presentation (Mount 7 Rec Plex)

7:30PM: Mandatory Volunteer Meeting


Schedule - Saturday, Sept 13

5:40AM: Mandatory Gear Check as runners enter the start chute (for Full Pint & 60km runners only)

6:00AM: Race STARTS for all Full Pint & 60km runners - don’t forget your headlamps.

6:00am: 30km Dawn Patrol START with Nikki & Candace (Hikers ONLY)

8:00AM: Race STARTS for all Half Pint & 30km runners

9:00AM: Check point 1 cut off for Full Pint & 60km runners - 12.5km

11:15AM: Check point 1 cut off for Half Pint & 30km runners - 12.5km

NOON: Check point 2 cut off for Full Pint & 60km runners - 25km

NOON: Registration for Free Kids Race (Look for the green TransRockies Run tents in Spirit Square)

12:30PM: Race STARTS for Little Pint Kids Race

2:00PM: Check point 3 cut off for Full Pint & 60km runners - 33km

2:00PM: Half Pint awards presentation in Spirit Square next to the finish line

4:30PM: Check point 4 cut off for Full Pint & 60km runners - 44.5km

4:30PM: Full Pint awards presentation in Spirit Square next to the finish line

5:30PM: Dinner is served for Half Pint runners (Mount 7 Rec Plex)

6:15PM: Dinner is served for Full Pint runners (Mount 7 Rec Plex)

6:00pm - DROP BAGS WILL BE RETURNED TO THE REC PLEX - Look for the U-Haul truck outside of the front doors of the MT. 7 Rec Plex. If you don’t pick them up on Saturday night, they will be moved to the start of Stage 3 which is located at Keith King.

6:30PM: Finish Line closes for all Full Pint & 60km runners - 12.5 hour cut off

7:00PM: Course & Medical briefing (Mount 7 Rec Plex)

7:20PM: Photos & Videos of the day presentation (Mount 7 Rec Plex)

7:30PM: Mandatory Volunteer Meeting


Schedule - Sunday, Sept 14

LOCATION: Keith King Memorial Park (1501 Maple Dr, Golden, BC V0A 1H6) - Due to construction on the downtown bridge, we have temporarily moved the Stage 3 start/finish to Keith King.

8:00AM to 8:30AM: Late Package Pick-Up for the single day runners (look above for full Package Pick-Up details).

9:00AM: MASS Start for all runners!

NOON: Awards Presentation at Keith King Memorial Park for Stage 3 events as well as overall awards for Full Pint & Half Pint

12:30PM: Finish Line closes for all runners

10:00PM - 1:00pm: Food Trucks and Free Beer at the Finish Line/Keith King Memorial Park.

Dinner & Daily Awards Information

Dinner is included for all Full Pint & Half Pint registrations. Extra dinner tickets can be purchased ($45 each) for guests or those participants that are signed up for single day events only. These will sell out fast.

Little Pint Kids Race!

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2025

  • FREE

  • Register at the Race Office Tents in Spirit Square at 12:00 noon - it’s FREE!!

  • Race starts under the arch at 12:30pm

  • For kids 8 years old & under - 2k run/walk

We set up a short course that crosses the beautiful Kicking Horse Pedestrain Bridge and runs along a stunning riverside trail in Golden. The course provides lots of opportunities for pictures, cheers, & high-fives, and the sweet feeling of the finishing in the main chute under the arch. Parents/Guardians are welcome to join.

 Note: Routes are subject to change at any time for permitting and/or safety.
